Jeans on the wall
CIRCULAR
Jeans on the wall is the name for our products from our 'own kitchen'

With the help of gourndbreaking development in chemistry combined with recycled textiles, Jeans on the wall is a circular product that stands for high-quality reuse of raw materials

By means of water, the product can be removed from the wall after at least ten years of life. It can be applied again at other locations without losing it's properties in wet conditions

Denimtex is therefore the only party in the Netherlands to supply a circular wall decoration made of recycled textiles

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Everyone has a pair of jeans in his or her wardrobe that is doomed to end up on the textile waste 'mountain'

Denimtex saves these jeans right before they end up in the incinerator

The production process starts at Frankenhuis Textielrecycling BV in Haaksbergen Twente. There we collect the recycled jeans fibers locally

Our production process then continues at De Werkplaats van Avelijn, a social organisation. 50 employees are present to produce our products to the right quality without commercial pressure, but with personal attention to the employees
JEANS ON THE WALL
The employees prepare the fibers by manually fluffing them for one bucket of Jeans on the wall, which requires 1 kilo

Then the binder is added to the fibers and it is electrically mixed together to form a paste, also called textile stucco.

The textile stucco contains fire-resistant, sound-damping, insulating, moisture-regulating and unique properties

The product is completely circular
